Virginia Attractions

Virginia theme park attractions, amusement parks and water parks are sprinkled throughout the state that is known as "the birthplace of a nation".

Even though the state motto is “Virginia is for lovers”, the state is really for anyone, lovers included, who likes magnificent rides through the Blue Ridge Mountains, historic monuments, sandy beaches, history, outdoor activities, and good old southern hospitality.

Flying into Virginia is no problem with four major airports throughout the state to choose from. You may find it cheaper to fly into one Virginia airport and then drive the short distance to your destination.

Just make sure that the rental car fees don’t eclipse your airfare savings. Most travel agencies also offer greater savings when you book your air travel, rental car, theme park tickets and hotel accommodations all at once.

Airports are located in the following cities:

• Newport News-Williamsburg
• Norfolk
• Sterling - Washington Dulles
• Richmond

Whether you choose to drive or fly, the map below will help you plan a great Virginia Family Theme Park Vacation.
