Swaders Sports Park

Swaders Sports Park is a small amusement park that is open year-round and features two Go-Kart tracks, batting cages, driving range and a 36-hole miniature golf course. Future attractions will include a 36,000 sq. ft. building which will house a laser tag arena, large arcade and mini-bowling.

Water Country USA

Water Country USA is a 40-acre water park located just three miles west of Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg and is part of the Busch Entertainment Corporation family of companies.

It is the mid-Atlantic's largest water park and features more than 30 water rides and attractions, live entertainment, shopping and restaurants, all set to a 1950s and '60s surf theme.

Features of this Virginia water park include the “Hubba Bubba Highway” the “Rambling River” lazy rivers and the four-foot swells of the “Surfer’s Bay” wave pool.

The Caban-A-Rama Theater is located next to the wave pool and features the free-flying birds of the “Rockin’ Boppin’ Bird Show” and the “Island Quest” acrobatic water show.

Water Country USA features several water slides for single riders, doubles or groups.

Slides that are “built-for-two” include the “Wild Thang” and the enclosed flumes of the “Malibu Pipeline”.

Other multi-person slides include the “Meltdown” toboggan ride, the “Aquazoid” family raft ride and the “Big Daddy Falls” raft thrill ride.

Speed slides include the “Rampage” ultra-vertical speed slide, the four flumes of the “Jet Scream” and the six speed slides of the “Nitro Racer”.

The park has four different interactive water spraygrounds dedicated to different ages.

Little ones can enjoy the mini-slides and fountains of the “Kritter Korral” play area as well as the live music show at the Minnow Matinee Theater.

The “Cow-A-Bunga” heated kiddie pool includes a 4500 square-foot play area complete with slides, geysers, bubble areas and a surrounding deck for lounging in the sun.

The H2O UFO kid’s water playground is aimed at the older kids and is the largest play area in the park. Features include a multi-level play structure with slides, water cannons and pipe falls.

Older guests can enjoy the “Adventure Isle” interactive playground is for tweens on up and features obstacle courses, climbing nets and the enclosed tube slides of the “Lemon Drop” and “Peppermint Twist”.

Water Country USA is open May through September with varying operating hours. There are single and multi-ticket options available that also include admission to nearby Busch Gardens Europe.

Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole

The Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole is a 1-acre park aimed mostly at kids up to 12 years old. This Old West-themed park is open from May to September and includes the lazy “Rattlesnake River” that circles an interactive playground with slides, flumes, “rattlesnake” floats, and “ore cart” tipping buckets. “Pete's Peak” mountain features boarded up mine shafts and tunnels along with the “Big Pete” and “Little Pete” slides. Little ones can enjoy mini-slides and bubblers of “Tenderfoot Pond. Water volleyball is also available.

Winchester Fun Expedition

Winchester Fun Expedition is a small amusement park that is open year-round and includes an arcade, laser tag, climbing wall, bowling and black light miniature golf. Other features include a soft play area for the younger kids with slides, tunnels and inflatables.
