Texas Attractions

Texas theme park attractions, amusement parks and water parks can be found throughout the diverse Lonestar State.

It is second in size only to Alaska with 262,017 square miles of territory and 624 miles of shoreline on the Gulf of Mexico.

Texas is famous for vast cattle ranches and oil booms, but its natural wonders inspire travelers when they visit the state.

Flying into Texas is no problem with fourteen major airports throughout the state to choose from.

You may find it cheaper to fly into one Texas airport and then drive the short distance to your destination.

Just make sure that the rental car fees don’t eclipse your airfare savings. Most travel agencies also offer greater savings when you book your air travel, rental car, theme park tickets and hotel accommodations all at once.

Airports are located in the following cities:

• Abilene
• Amarillo
• Austin
• Brownsville/South Padre Island
• Corpus Christi
• Dallas
• El Paso
• Ft. Worth
• Galveston
• Harlingen
• Houston
