Granite Beach Waterpark

Granite Beach Waterpark is a small park located in the level waters of a secluded cove on Lake LBJ in Horseshoe Bay. Features include sand beaches, volleyball, slide and water trampoline. There is also a 14-foot climbing iceberg that guests can jump from or slide down into the lake as well as floating stage and picnic areas.

Granite Beach provides free life jackets and is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hawaiian Falls

Hawaiian Falls have three water parks in Texas located in The Colony, Garland and Mansfield.

Each park features similar attractions and provides free parking, life jackets and inner tubes.

They are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day with varying hours of operation.



Hawaiian Falls Water Park-The Colony is located near The Colony Five Star Park and features the “Breaker Beach” wave pool and the “Kona Kooler” lazy river. Slides include the “Hawaiian Halfpipe” and “Pipeline” tube rides and the “Waikiki Wipeout” and “Flyin' Hawaiian” body slides. Also included is the the “Keiki Kove” interactive water play area with a dump bucket.

Hawaiian Falls Firewheel is a 6-acre water park located in the Cecil Winters Park in North Garland. Features include the 16,000 square-foot wave pool, “Waikiki Beach”, that is also the area for after-hours movies and concerts. Guests can float down the “Kona Kooler” lazy river with beaches and waterfalls and little ones can enjoy the “Splashwater Harbor” kiddie pool with water umbrellas. Slides include the “Hawaiian Halfpipe” and “Pipeline” tube rides and the “Waikiki Wipeout” and “Flyin' Hawaiian” body slides. Also included are the “Pineapple Express” four-lane racers and the “Keiki Kove” interactive water play area with a dump bucket.

Hawaiian Falls – Mansfield is a 14-acre water park located in Big Dreams Park in Mansfield. It features the “Waikiki Beach” wave pool, the “Kona Kooler” lazy river and the “Coconut Sprayzone”. Rides include the “Blow Hole Bowl” and “Hula Bowl” raft rides and the “Pineapple Express” four-lane racers. The “Maui Wowie” and “Honolulu Lulu” slide complexes each feature four body slides and young guests can enjoy the “Keiki Kove” interactive water play area with a dump bucket.

Hurst Aquatic Centers

The city of Hurst features two small water parks that are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day with varying operating hours. Both parks feature sand volleyball, large slides and zero-entry activity pools with tipping buckets and water umbrellas. Also featured are shallow kiddie pools that include a multi-level play structure with slides and interactive water features.

Joyland

Joyland is a traditional amusement park located in the Mackenzie Park Recreation Area in Lubbock.

It features over 30 rides and attractions as well as a mist cooling system throughout the Midway to fight against the Texas heat.

This Texas amusement park features several classic carnival rides including the “Tilt-A-Whirl”, “Scrambler”, bumper cars and the ”Roll-O-Plane” hammer ride.

Thrill rides include the “Musik Express” and the “Mad Mouse” and “Galaxi” roller coasters.

Guests can also experience weightlessness on the “Trabant” and “Space Shuttle” rides. Also included are the water rides, “Big Splash”, “Wild River Log Flume” and the “Vortex Water Coaster”.

Guests can travel above the park on the “Skyride” or take a train ride around the park on the “Santa Fe Chief”. There are also rides just for the younger ones like the carousel, antique cars, “Big Trucks” and “Kiddie Boats”. Kids can also take to the air in the “Helicopters”, “Sky Fighters” and the “Little Coaster”. The park also offers a variety of arcade games.

Joyland is open seasonally from March through mid September with varying operating hours.
