Fantasy Lake is a 12-acre lakeside water park that is open May through September. It includes a large sand beach, Tarzan swings, jump tower, diving board along with a water volleyball and basketball area. Slides include the two "Master Blaster" slides, "Banana" slides and drop slides. Children’s attractions include the mini Tarzan swings and six slides of "Fantasy Land". The park also features pedal boats.

Frankie's Fun Park is a small year round amusement park located in Raleigh. It features miniature golf, Go Karts and bumper boats along with an arcade, batting cages and a few carnival rides. Frankie's also offers free admission and parking.

Fun Depot is a small amusement park that is open year-round and includes an arcade, Go-Karts, bumper cars, laser tag, batting cages, indoor miniature golf and bowling. They also offer a soft play area for younger kids that includes slides, tunnels and inflatables.

Ghost Town in the Sky is a 99-acre theme park situated 4600 feet above sea level atop Buck Mountain in Maggie Valley. Known as "North Carolina's mile-high theme park", it originally opened in 1960, closed in 2002 and was reopened in May 2007 sporting millions of dollars of renovations.
The park is open May through November and includes over a dozen rides and attractions within an authentic Old West town with two saloons, schoolhouse, jail and a church. There are also live-action shows with gunfights and bank robberies as well as old time musicians, can-can dancers and Indians.
Guests arrive at the park via a chair lift that takes them 3300 feet to the park entrance. In the summer of 2008, the park will also open an incline railroad train to take guests up the mountainside to the park. Carnival rides include the "Gunslinger" swings, "Round Up" and the "Undertaker" scrambler.
Little ones can enjoy the "Canyon Canoes", Wagon Train" and "Sky Fighters" in Kiddy Land while families can enjoy the antique carousel, train ride, "Dream Catcher" and the "Tumble Weed" family coaster. Thrill rides include the "Geronimo" drop tower and the "Cliff Hanger" roller coaster.

Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park is a small family amusement park that is open year round. Attractions include miniature golf, Go Karts, rock walls, laser tag and small water park. Other features include a large indoor playground with ball pits and multi-level climbing structure.

Pullen Park in Raleigh is a small municipal park that includes an antique carousel, steam locomotive train ride and pedal boats. The park is open year round with varying days and hours. As a side note, the park is also home to TV Land's "Andy & Opie" statue.

Ray's Splash Planet is a small indoor municipal water park that is open year round. It includes the "Sea of Tranquility" activity pool, "Moon Beach" zero-entry family pool and the "Vortex" current pool. Other features include the "Orbitor" lazy river and the three-story slide complex, "Blue Comet". Children's activities include the "Sun Drop" squirters, "Meteor Showers" tipping buckets and the four slides of the "Saturation Station" interactive water playground.
