Country Fair Park

Darien Lake Theme Park Resort

Darien Lake Theme Park Resort is a 360-acre complex located between Buffalo and Rochester near Niagara Falls. The resort area includes a theme park, resort hotel, RV rental and a 1,200 site campground.

It is New York State's largest theme park and resort and includes over 100 attractions, including 30 rides, a children’s area, water park and a 20,000-seat outdoor concert venue.

Darien Lake is home to six coasters that include the “Viper”, “Ride of Steel” and “Boomerang Coast to Coaster”.

Other coasters include the famous “Predator” wooden coaster, “Mind Eraser” suspended coaster and the new “MotoCoaster”. Other thrill rides include the “Skycoaster” and the “Slingshot” bungee attraction.

Guests can also enjoy several carnival rides that include the “Twister”, “Haymaker”, “Scrambler” and the “Lasso” wave swinger. Family rides include the “Grand Carousel”, “Bear Valley Bumper Buggies and the second largest Ferris wheel in the country, “Giant Wheel”. The park also features a go-kart track, paddle boats and a miniature golf course.

“Adventure Isle” is an area just for kids that includes daily live shows at the Adventure Stage as well as ten rides, including the “Darien Lake Express” train, “”Twisty tubs” tea cups and the “Brain Teaser” kiddie coaster.

Barracuda Bay water park attractions are included with the cost of admission and include “Floodgate Falls” river and the “Crocodile Isle” wave pool. Slides include the “Big Kahuna” raft ride, the “Tornado” funnel ride and the four slides of “Cuda Falls”. Kids will enjoy the slides and interactive water features “Hook’s Lagoon” that also includes a five-story play structure with tipping bucket. Other rides include “Shipwreck Falls”, “Thunder Rapids” log flume and “Grizzly Run” river rapids ride.

Darien Lake Theme Park is open May through September with varying operating hours and days.

Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park

Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is traditional boardwalk amusement park located in Coney Island. The centerpiece of the park is the 15-story “Wonder Wheel” Ferris wheel which was named an official New York City Landmark in 1989. It is open April through September and includes two arcades, live music shows and over two dozen rides.

Children’s rides include the “Red baron” airplanes, “Rio Grande” train and the “Sea Serpent” kiddie coaster. Other rides include the “Spook-A-Rama” haunted house, “Super Shot” tower drop and the spinning “Thunderbolt”.

Enchanted Forest Water Safari & Calypso’s Cove

Enchanted Forest Water Safari is a 60-acre water and amusement park that is open June through September.

In addition to the water and amusement park areas, the park also features “Storybook Lane”, the Western-themed “Dawson City” and “Timber Bear’s Barnyard” petting zoo. Other park attractions include an arcade, circus shows and a park museum.The water park features 31 attractions that include the “Tidal Wave” wave pool and the “Log Jammer” and “Safari River Expedition” lazy rivers.

Guests can enjoy the “Lake Nakura” family pools or take a ride on the “Cascade Falls” and “Amazon” family raft rides.

Slides include the five-lane mat racers of the “Serengeti Surf Hill” and the “Black River”, “Rondaxe Run” and “Raging Rapids” tube slides. Other slides include the “Shadow” and “Nairobi Narrows” body slides and the “Killermanjaro” and “Bombay Blasters” speed slides.

Kids will enjoy the “Kid Wash” and the four slides and three-story play structure of the “Sawmill”. Little ones will have fun splashing at the “Pygmy Pond” toddler play pool and sliding down the five lane mini racers of “Tadpole Hole”.

The amusement area features a dozen carnival rides that include the carousel, cars and helicopter kiddie rides along with the traditional rides, “Scrambler”, “Round-Up” and “Tilt-O-Whirl”.

Calypso’s Cove Family Fun Center is a small family amusement center located next door. Attractions include an arcade miniature and rock climbing wall as well as miniature golf, Go Karts, and bumper boats.

Fun Central

The Fun Spot

The Fun Spot is a small family amusement center that is open year round. Attractions include an arcade, laser tag arena and inflatable soft play area.

Other features include roller skating, Go-Karts and Adventure Golf. The park also features a small seasonal water park that includes two large slides and a children’s water playground with mini slide and interactive features.
