Six Flags St. Louis

Six Flags St. Louis is a 132-acre theme park that also includes the 12-acre water park, Hurricane Harbor.

Opened in 1971 as the third theme park of the Six Flags chain, it features eight themed lands with more than 50 rides and attractions, seven roller coasters, live stage shows and meet and greets with favorite LOONEY TUNES and Justice League characters.

Roller coasters include the “Ninja”, “Mr. Freeze” steel coaster and “Batman: The Ride” inverted coaster. Other coasters include the “River King Mine Train” coaster and “The Boss”, “Evel Knievel” and “Screamin’ Eagle” wooden coasters. Guests can also experience more thrills on the “Superman: Tower of Power” drop ride, the “Xcalibur” extreme gondola ride and “Tony Hawk’s Big Spin”.

Family rides include “Shazam” scrambler, “The Joker, Inc.”, “Highland Fling” and the “Colossus” Ferris wheel. Other rides include “Scooby Doo: Mystery of the Scary Swamp”, “Riverview Racer” and “Moon Antique Cars”. Water rides include the “Tidal Wave”, “Log Flume” and “Thunder River” whitewater rapids ride.

BUGS BUNNY National Park children's area features several rides and attractions dedicated to the younger guests. Attractions include “TAZ’S Twisters”, “Tweety’s Twee House”, “Marvin the Martian Camp Invasion” and the “Daffy Duck Swing Ride”. This area also includes the “Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons”, “Foghorn Leghorn National Park Railway” and a three-story interactive tree house.

Hurricane Harbor is a small water park located within Six Flags St. Louis and is included with the cost of admission. It features eleven slides and attractions, including “Gulley Washer Creek” lazy river and the “Hurricane Bay” wave pool. Thrill slides include three six-story speed slides and the four tube slides of five-story slide complex.

Family raft rides include the ”Big Kahuna” and the six-story funnel ride, “Tornado”. Kids will enjoy the “Pirate Ship” slides of “Hook’s Lagoon” interactive play area. The lagoon also features a five-story tree house with tunnels, slides and tipping bucket.

Six Flags St. Louis is open April through November with varying days and hours.

Splash Country Water Park

Splash Country is an indoor/outdoor water park located within the Grand Country Resort Hotel and open to the public. The indoor area is open year-round and features a lazy river, two hot tubs and a basketball play pool. Little ones can enjoy the 2,000 square-foot kiddie pool with swings, rocking toads and fish and frog slides. Kids of all ages will enjoy the multi-level tree house with interactive water features, tipping bucket and two tube slides. The outdoor area is seasonal and includes the “Froggie Bog” sprayground, “Hatfield Holler” lazy river “and the “Eureka Mine” water slide.

Springs Aquatic Center

Springs Aquatic Center is a small municipal water park located within Tiffany Hills Park in Kansas City. It is open Memorial Day through Labor Day and includes a vortex , lazy river and a 50 meter competition pool with two water slides. It also includes zero-entry activity pool with interactive water features and two children’s spraygrounds.

St. Charles Water Parks

The city of St. Charles operates three small water parks that are open May through August.

Blanchette Aquatic Center includes a lap pool with diving area and three slides as well as a children's water play area with an otter slide and lily pad walk.

Wapelhorst Aquatic Facility is the largest of the three parks and includes a large activity pool with children’s play area and three slides that include an underground slide and a five-story speed slide. It also includes a white water tube ride.

St. Joseph Aquatic Park

St. Joseph Aquatic Park is a small municipal water park that is open May through September. Attractions include a vortex, lazy river and a zero-entry family activity pool with children’s interactive play structure and waterfall wall. It also features a six-lane lap pool with diving well and two serpentine water slides.
