Coco Key

CoCo Key Indoor Water Resorts have two Massachusetts locations with parks in Boston and a new location in Fitchburg opening in 2009. Located within resort hotels, they are both open year-round and are open to the public. The 65,000 square-foot Key West-inspired parks remain at a constant 84 degrees and include similar features like the “Palm Grotto” whirlpools and the lazy “Coconut Grove Adventure River” that includes video entertainment courtesy of the “Dip-In Theater”.

Slides at both parks include the “Barracuda Blast”, “Shark Slam” and “Gator Gush”. Children's areas include the “Coral Reef Cavern” activity pool with lily pad walks and water basketball along with an interactive water playground with the “Parrot's Perch Play Structure”. This multi-level structure includes mini slides, cannons and giant tipping bucket.

Funway USA

Funway USA is a small amusement park with two locations in Massachusetts. Both parks are open April through September and feature batting cages, bumper boats, go-karts and miniature golf. Other attractions include a moon walk, rock climbing wall and inflatable obstacle course. The Foxboro location also offers a bungee run and bungee trampoline.

Good Time Emporium

Good Time Emporium is a large indoor amusement park that is open year-round. It features an arcade, go-kart track, laser tag arena, batting cages and bumper cars. Other attractions include a bowling alley, basketball court, billiards and a “Himalaya” ride.

Six Flags New England & Hurricane Harbor

Six Flags New England is a 134-acre theme park located in Agawam in the greater Springfield area. It features a water park and over 140 rides and attractions, including 10 roller coasters.

It also includes three themed children's areas, live stage shows and meet and greets with favorite LOONEY TUNES and Justice League characters.

Roller coasters include the “Cyclone” and “Thunderbolt” wooden coasters, “The Dark Knight” coaster and the “Batman The Ride” inverted coaster.

Other coasters include the “Flashback”, Mind Eraser” and “Pandemonium” spinning coaster along with the award-winning steel coaster, “Superman: Ride of Steel”.

Other thrill rides include the “Scream” tower drop and the “Nightwing” flight ride.

Family rides include an antique carousel, the spinning ”Kontiki”, “Scrambler” and “Tea Cups” rides as well as “Houdini-The Great Escape”, “Tomahawk” and the “Catwoman’s Whip” family coaster. Water rides include “Splashwater Falls”, the “Blizzard River” whitewater raft ride and “Shipwreck Falls” flume ride. Guests can also enjoy a sky ride above the park in the “New England Skyway”.

This Massachusetts theme park includes three areas designed especially for kids. Looney Tunes Movie Town rides include “Looney Tunes Animation Department”, “Daffy’s Hollywood Tours”, “Tweety’s Clubhouse” tower drop, “The Great Chase” family coaster and “Foghorn Leghorn’s Tinsel Town Train”.

Wiggles World features nine attractions that include “Wags’ Doggie Copters”, “Cold Spaghetti Western Wheel” and “Dorothy’s Rosy Tea Cups”. Thomas Town includes “Thomas the Tank Engine”, “Bertie the Bus” and “Harold the Helicopter”.

Hurricane Harbor is a small water park located within Six Flags New England and is included with the cost of admission. It features eleven slides and attractions, including the “Adventure River” and two wave pools, “Hurricane Bay” and “Commotion Ocean”.

Thrill slides include the “Typhoon” water coaster and the “Shark Attack” and “Swiss Family Toboggan” raft rides. Other slides include the “Cannonball Falls”, “Geronimo Falls and “Zooma Falls” body slides and the six slides of the “Lagoon Slides” complex. Family raft rides include the”Big Kahuna” and the six-story funnel ride, “Tornado”.

Six Flags New England is open April through October with varying days and hours.

White's Family Fun & Sports Center

White's Family Fun Center is a small indoor/outdoor amusement park located in Acushne. The indoor portion is open year-round and features an arcade as well as the Kiddie Land indoor rides that include a carousel, cars, jets, Ferris wheel and soft play area. Kiddie Land outdoor rides include a train, balloons, mini bumper boats, swings and clown ride. Other outdoor attractions include a petting zoo, driving range, bumper boats and 18-hole miniature golf course.
