Aquaboggan Waterpark is a 40-acre park in Saco that is open June through September. It is Maine's largest water park and features a wave pool, "Stealth" half pipe and the "Totally Tubular" and "Turbo Drop" tube slides. Other attractions include the three "Pipeline" mat slides, "Aquasaucer" water dome and the "Splash 'N' Play" water playground with climbing structure, slides, water umbrellas and tipping bucket. Big Adventure Center is a small amusement facility in Bethel that is open year round. Attractions include an arcade, laser tag arena, rock walls, bowling lanes and miniature golf. The center also features a small outdoor water park that is open June through September and includes two large water slides. Funtown Splashtown U.S.A. is an 82-acre amusement park and water park in Saco that is open May through September. The amusement park area features an arcade, boardwalk games and over two dozen rides and attractions, including the 22-story "Dragon's Descent" tower drop, the tallest thrill ride in Northern New England. Funtown is also home to Maine's largest wooden roller coaster, "Excalibur", as well as New England's longest, tallest log flume, "Thunder Falls". Other thrill rides include the scrambling "Astrosphere", "Sea Dragon" and the Galaxi" roller coaster. The park features several family rides that include a carousel, antique cars, bumper cars and the "Flying Trapeze" swings. Children's rides include the "Red Baron" planes, "Frog Hopper" and "Funtown Kiddie Train". Splashtown water park is included with park admission and features a family leisure pool and the "Liquid Lightning" river. Slides include the "Splish" and "Splash" tunnel slides,"Tornado" funnel slide and "Mammoth" family raft slide. Children's play areas include the "Fun Lagoon" activity pool and the multi-level interactive water play fort at "Portland Pirates Paradise" with eight slides, pipe falls, bubblers and tipping bucket.
