Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
& Splashwater Kingdom

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a 58-acre theme park in Louisville that also includes Splashwater Kingdom water park.

Open April through October, it features over 110 rides and attractions as well as a variety of live entertainment and meet-and-greets with Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters.

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom features several family rides including the “Road Runner Express” family coaster, “The Penguin’s Blizzard River” whitewater raft ride and the “Bluebeard’s Bounty” pirate ship.

Other family attractions include the “Giant Wheel” Ferris wheel, “Thrill Park Theater” simulator ride and the “Roller Skater”.

The park is home to several roller coasters that include the “T2” suspended coaster, “Chang” stand-up coaster and the “Thunder Run” wooden coaster. Guests can also enjoy the “Greased Lightnin’” and “Himalaya” coasters along with the 180-foot tall “SkyCoaster”. Other thrill rides include the “Enterprise” spinning gondola and the “Breakdance” scrambler.

Looney Tunes Movie Town is an area with rides and attractions just for kids, including the multi-level treehouse, “Looney Tunes Acme Factory”. Movie Town rides include airplanes, trucks, race cars and balloons along with a carousel and small Ferris wheel. Other kiddie rides located throughout the park include the “Tin Lizzies” antique car ride, “Rio Grande” mini train, “Flying Dutchman” and the “International Carousel”

Splashwater Kingdom is a 15-acre water park that is included in the price of admission. Attractions include the “Castaway Creek” lazy river and “Big Surf Wave Pool”. Slides include the “Tornado” six-story funnel ride, the four slides of the “Mt. Slide Hai” complex and North America's tallest and fastest water coaster, “Deluge”.

Kids can enjoy the “Buccaneer Beach” interactive water playground with slides, tipping coconuts, waterfalls and fountains. They can also climb around on the five-story interactive treehouse in “Hook’s Lagoon” that also includes a four-story slide.

SomerSplash

SomerSplash is a small water park in Somerset that is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Attractions include a wave pool, lazy river and four slides. The park also includes the “Kiddie Play” activity pool with multi-level play structure, mini slides, tipping bucket and interactive water features.

Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center

Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center is a small water park located in Hopkinsville. Open May through September, it features the “Riptide Express” lazy river and the “Hurricane Alley” and “Ripple River” tube slides. Also included is the children’s area, “Splash Zone”, with multi-level play structure with slide, pipe falls, tipping bucket and interactive water features.

Venture River Water Park

Venture River Water Park is a small water park located in the Western Kentucky town of Eddyville. It is open May through September and includes the “Hurricane Wave Pool” as well as the two rivers, the “Cyclone” and the waves of the “Old Man River”. Tube Slides include the two “Waloopas” and the “Twin Twisters”. Other slides include the “Dueling Demon” and “Triple Mania” speed slides and the “Cliffhanger” half pipe.

The park also features two children’s areas, including “Frog Island” sprayground and the “Pleasure Island” kiddie pool with log walk, frog slide, interactive water features and two multi-level play structures. Other features include a water balloon sling shot game, giant maze and sand volleyball court.
