Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon Water Park

Beech Bend Park is a large amusement park located in Bowling Green. It is ranked the 5th Friendliest Park in the World for 2007, tying it with Disneyland in California, and includes over 40 rides and attractions, including four roller coasters, petting zoo, miniature golf and go-kart tracks. The This Kentucky theme park also includes a water park, campground and automobile race track.

Carnival rides include a Ferris wheel, “Tilt-a-Whirl”, “Jitter Bug Swings” and the scrambling ”Sizzler”. Other rides include the “White Water Express” flume ride, “Jalopy Junction”, “Power Surge “and the “Shock Drop” tower ride.

Roller coasters include the “Looping Star”, “Dragon Coaster”, “Wild Mouse” and the latest addition, “Kentucky Rumbler”. Guests can also visit the “Haunted House” and take a ride on the “Western Train”.

Kiddie rides include the “Kiddie Whip”, “Bumble Bee Bop”, “Jumping Jumbos” and the “Grand Carousel”. Other rides include children's boats, bumper cars, “Happy Pond” and the “Tea Cup Ride”. Kids can also enjoy the “Rainbow Rock” multi-level climbing structure and the “Lotta Watta Island” sprayground.

Splash Lagoon Water Park is also located within the park and is included with cost of admission. Attractions include a lap pool and a large activity pool complete with fountains, bubblers and play creatures. The activity pool also includes the three slides of the “Raging Rapids” slide complex. Kids will enjoy the interactive water features of “Lotta Watta Island” that include pipe falls, tipping buckets and a multi-level play structure with two slides.

Beech Bend Park offers fee parking, sunscreen, tubes and mats and is open May through September.

Glacier Run Splash Park @ The Louisville Zoo

Glacier Run Splash Park is a small water sprayground located with the Louisville Zoo. It includes several interactive water features including water cannons, tipping buckets, fountains and bubblers. The park also includes a toddler play area and a “fishing boat” play structure with two slides, tipping bucket and mast that shoots a 50-foot geyser.

Glacier Run Splash Park is open May through September and is included with the cost of admission to the zoo.

Hal Rogers Family Entertainment Center
Kentucky Splash Waterpark

The Hal Rogers Family Entertainment Center is a 55-acre amusement park that also includes the Kentucky Splash Water Park. Amusement park attractions include an arcade, driving range, batting cages, two go-kart tracks and an 18-hole championship miniature golf course.

Kentucky Splash Waterpark includes the “Wipe Out” wave pool, “Lazy Castaway River” and a triple slide complex. Kids will enjoy the 6000 square-foot “Tad Pole Island “activity pool with two kiddie slides, water umbrellas and interactive water features. “Tad Pole Island “ also features a multi-level play structure with slides, climbing nets and tipping bucket.

Both parks are open May through September.

Hillbilly Hound Fun Park

Hillbilly Hound Fun Park is a small amusement park located in the Mammoth Caves area in Cave city. It is open March through November and includes a go-kart track and an arcade with billiards and midway games.

Jessamine County Aquatic Park

Jessamine County Aquatic Park is a small municipal water park located in Nicholasville. It is open May through September and includes a large, zero-entry leisure pool with two slides and interactive water play structure.
