Indiana Attractions
Indiana theme park attractions, amusement parks and water parks only add to this Midwest states appeal as a great travel destination. Even with only 40 miles of coastline along Lake Michigan, Indiana is still considered a Great Lake State. Visitors will never get bored with Indiana's assortment of adventures including family fun, arts, culture and sports. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are twelve state forests, nine reservoirs, eighteen fish and wildlife areas and over one hundred nature preserves. Air travel is no problem with four major airports throughout the state to choose from. You may find it cheaper to fly into one airport and then drive the short distance to your destination. Just make sure that the rental car fees don’t eclipse your airfare savings. Most travel agencies also offer greater savings when you book your air travel, rental car, theme park tickets and hotel accommodations all at once. Airports are located in the following cities:
• Evansville • Ft. Wayne • Indianapolis • South Bend
