Splash Valley Aquatic Park is a small municipal water park located within the Kankakee Valley Park District. Open from May through September, it features a lazy river, four-lane lap pool and a zero-entry family activity pool with three large slides and climbing structure with pipe falls, fountains and mini slide. The park also includes a zero-entry kiddie pool and sand play area.

The Wheeling Park District Aquatic Center is a small water park that includes an outdoor portion that is open May through September and an indoor portion that is open year-round.
The outdoor portion includes the “Aloha Beach” zero-entry leisure pool with the ‘Willie the Whale” kiddie slide, “Volcano Valley” tube slides and the drop slides of “Paradise Falls”. Kids can enjoy the ” Lily Pad Lagoon” play pool or the “Tsunami Splash” play area with tipping bucket and interactive water features. Other amenities include the a sand play rae and volleyball courts.
Arctic Splash is the indoor portion of the park and includes a four-lane lap pool, lazy river and zero-entry leisure pool with kiddie slide and jungle gyms with interactive water features.
