Magic Waters Waterpark is a 43-acre park located within the Rockford Park District. Open May through September, it features a sand volleyball court, the lazy ” Splash Magic River” and Illinois’ largest wave pool, “Breaker Beach”. Little ones can enjoy the whale fountain and frog slide of “Little Lagoon” while older kids will enjoy “Splash Magic Island”. It features a five-story play structure with slides, tipping bucket and interactive water features. Slides include two tube slides, the two dark slides of the “Abyss” and the “Splash Blaster” water coaster. Other slides include the “Bonzai”, “Keelhauler” and Sea Serpent”.

Mystic Waters Family Aquatic Center is a small municipal water park that is open May through September. It features the “Crocodile Cove” lazy river, “Beluga Beach”, interactive water sprayground and the“Dolphin Bay” zero-depth leisure pool with mini slide and interactive water features. Slides include the “Otters Run” speed slides and the “Sea Lion Falls” drop slides.

The city of Normal operates two water parks.
The Fairview Family Aquatic Center is open from May through September and features a sand volleyball court and a large zero-entry pool. The pool includes four slides and children’s play area with fountains, water umbrellas and interactive water features.
Anderson Aquatic Center is open from June through August and features a lap pool, training pool with two slides and a zero-entry children’s play area. The play area includes a mini slide, play structure and interactive water features.

The Oak Brook Family Aquatic Center is a small indoor water park that is open year-round. It features a lazy river, six-lane lap pool and a zero- entry leisure pool with water slide. Other amenities include a children’s water sprayground that is open May through September.

Pelican Harbor Indoor/Outdoor Aquatic Park is a small municipal park located in Bolingbrook. The indoor portion is open year-round and features whirlpool, six-lane lap pool and a zero-entry activity pool with interactive water features, tipping buckets, pelican kiddie slide and three large slides. The outside portion is open from May through September and features a sand playground, volleyball court and water sprayground.
