Silverwood is a 200-acre theme park located north of Coeur d’Alene in Athol. It is open May through September and is the only theme park in America to be built around a private airport. The park features over 65 rides and attractions, including midway games, live stage shows and a Garfield-themed children's play area. Silverwood is home to four thrill coasters that include the "Corkscrew" and "Aftershock" roller coasters along with "Tremors" and "Timber Terror" wooden coasters. Other thrill rides include "Panic Plunge", "Trabant" and "Sky Diver". Families can enjoy the "Tilt-A-Whirl", "Roaring Creek" log flume and "Thunder Canyon" family raft ride.
