Bob Makinson Aquatic Center is a small water park that includes a sand volleyball court, an eight-lane lap pool and a large water slide. Also included is a children’s water play area that features a multi-level play structure with slides, pipe falls and water umbrellas. It is open Memorial Day through September with varying operating hours.

Boomers! Amusement Park is a string of smaller family amusement parks located throughout the U.S. with two locations in Florida. The smaller of the two amusement parks is located in Boca Raton. The larger one is located in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale area in Dania Beach. Both parks have similar attractions like a miniature golf, Go-Karts, rock walls, laser tag and bumper cars and boats. Both also feature game rooms, batting cages and a few carnival rides.
The Dania Beach location is home to the largest wooden roller coaster in Florida and the only roller coaster in South Florida.Boomers! Amusement Parks also offer free admission and parking.

Calypso Bay is a small water park located within Seminole Palms Park. It is open from May through September and features a lazy river and an interactive water playground. Calypso Cove is a small water park located within Royal Palm Park that is open only weekends from March through September. The three pool areas include a community pool, a plunge pool with two slides and a zero-depth activity pool. The activity pool also includes a beach area, a play structure and interactive water features.
