SeaWorld Aquatica is a 59-acre water park located across the street from SeaWorld Orlando and is part of the Busch Entertainment Corporation family of companies.
This South Sea-inspired park features several lagoons, over 30 water slides and 80,000 square feet of beaches with cabanas. This Florida water park also includes the world’s only side-by-side wave pools with the easy waves of “Cutback Cove” and crashing 5-foot swells of “Big Surf Shores”.
Although the park features several fish and exotic bird exhibits, the main attraction is the “Dolphin Plunge” acrylic tube slide that sends guests beneath and through the Commerson’s Dolphin Exhibit. Other slides include the eight lanes of the “Taumata Racer” and the four inner tube slides of the “Whanau Way” slide complex. Also included are the “Walhalla Waters” and “HooRoo Run” six-story family raft rides.
“Roa’s Rapids” is one of the two rivers located within the park and offers guests a racing ride through churning white water. For a more relaxing ride, guests can enjoy the waterfalls and hundreds of tropical fish of the Fish Grotto while floating along the “Loggerhead Lane” lazy river. This river also circles the “Tassie’s Twisters” dual funnel ride.
Kids of all ages can enjoy the “Walkabout Waters” interactive water playground. This giant platy area features a 15,000-square-foot pool as well as a six-story play structure with slides, fountains and water cannons. Little ones can splash and slide around in “Kata’s Kookaburra Cove” activity pool.
