Adventure Island

Adventure Island is a 34-acre water park located across the street from Busch Gardens Africa and is part of the Busch Entertainment Corporation family of theme parks. The Key West-inspired park features over a dozen water rides as well as two water playgrounds and the “Spike Zone” tournament volleyball complex.

Water attractions include the “Endless Surf” wave pool and the giant activity pool, “Paradise Lagoon”, with slides, rope walk and cliff-jumping platform. Slides include the “Gulf Stream” speed slides, “Rip Tide” four-lane mat slide and the “Caribbean Corkscrew” twisted aqua-tube slides. Other slides include the “Everglides” seven-story speed slides and the five flumes of the “Runaway Rapids” tower. Guests can also ride the “Calypso Coaster” flume that deposits them into the lazy “Rambling Bayou” river that circles the park.

This Florida water park features several raft rides that include the “Key West Rapids”, “Aruba Tuba”, “Wahoo Run” and the “Water Moccasin” spiral raft ride. Kids can enjoy the “Fabian’s Funport” interactive water playground that features a mini-wave pool and a multi-level play structure with slides. Also included is the “Splash Attack” large family sprayground that features a 1000-gallon tipping bucket as well as a giant tree house with slides, climbing ropes, web crawls and interactive water features.

Adventure Island is open May through September with varying operating hours. It requires separate admission from Busch Gardens Africa with multi-park ticket options available.

Adventure Landing-Shipwreck Island Waterpark

Adventure Landing is a small chain of amusement parks with two Florida locations in the Jacksonville area.

Adventure Landing in Jacksonville is a small amusement park that is open year-round. Features include an arcade, Go-Karts, laser tag and two miniature golf courses.

Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach features the Shipwreck Island Waterpark that is open May through September. This island-themed park includes a wave pool, lazy river and three thrill slides. Attractions include the “Hydro Halfpipe”, the “Rage” uphill water coaster and the “Eye of the Storm” body slide. Kids can enjoy “Kiddie Cove” and the three-story sprayground, “Pirate’s Play Village”, with 12 slides and interactive water features.

Adventure Landing amusement park is open year-round and includes an arcade, Go-Karts, laser tag, batting cages and two miniature golf courses. This location also includes the “Frog Hopper”, “Wacky Worm” roller coaster, “Max Flight” coaster simulator and the “Teddy Bear Factory”.

Andretti Thrill Park

Andretti Thrill Park is a small amusement park located in Melbourne. It is open year-round and includes an arcade, Go-Karts, bumper boats, laser tag, batting cages and a miniature golf course. The park also includes a playground, kiddie race track and two carnival rides.
