Royal Gorge Park is a 360-acre nature park in Canon City that is open year round. The park features the Royal Gorge Bridge, the world's highest suspension bridge that hangs 1053 feet above the Royal Gorge, called "The Grand Canyon of the Arkansas River".Guests can also ride the world's longest aerial tram as well as board the world's steepest incline railway for a 1500-foot descent to the canyon floor. Santa's Workshop is a small Christmas-themed amusement park near Pikes Peak that is open May through Christmas Eve. It features over two dozen rides and attractions that include magic shows and a petting zoo. Rides include a "Scrambler", giant Ferris wheel, "Tilt-O-Whirl" and "Mini Himilaya". Water World is a 64-acre water park in the Denver area that is open May through September. It is one of America's largest water parks and is one of the Travel Channel's Top 10 Best Water Parks. The park features over 40 slides and attractions that include the lazy "Tortuga Run" river ride and the "Captain Jack" and "Thunder Bay" wave pools. Some of the many slides include the "Zoomerang" half pipe and the eight-lane "Turbo Racers" along with all the slides of the "Bermuda Triangle", "River Country" and "Thrill Hill" slide complexes.
