Royal Gorge Park

Royal Gorge Park is a 360-acre nature park in Canon City that is open year round. The park features the Royal Gorge Bridge, the world's highest suspension bridge that hangs 1053 feet above the Royal Gorge, called "The Grand Canyon of the Arkansas River".

Guests can also ride the world's longest aerial tram as well as board the world's steepest incline railway for a 1500-foot descent to the canyon floor. Rides include a carousel, mini train and the "Royal Rush Skycoaster".Other park amenities include a wildlife park and a petting zoo with burro rides.

Santa's Workshop

Santa's Workshop is a small Christmas-themed amusement park near Pikes Peak that is open May through Christmas Eve. It features over two dozen rides and attractions that include magic shows and a petting zoo. Rides include a "Scrambler", giant Ferris wheel, "Tilt-O-Whirl" and "Mini Himilaya". Guests can also take a ride around the park on the train or the skyride.

Splash Aquatics Park

Splash Aquatics Park is a small municipal water park that is open May through September. It includes a large family activity pool with two large slides and children's play structure with slides, pipe falls and tipping bucket. Other play areas include a sand beach and water sprayground.

Walsenburg Wild Waters

Walsenburg Wild Waters is a small municipal water park in Walsenburg that is open May through September. It includes a small lazy river and zero-entry family pool with two slides, fountains, tipping bucket and interactive water features.

Water World

Water World is a 64-acre water park in the Denver area that is open May through September. It is one of America's largest water parks and is one of the Travel Channel's Top 10 Best Water Parks.

The park features over 40 slides and attractions that include the lazy "Tortuga Run" river ride and the "Captain Jack" and "Thunder Bay" wave pools.

Some of the many slides include the "Zoomerang" half pipe and the eight-lane "Turbo Racers" along with all the slides of the "Bermuda Triangle", "River Country" and "Thrill Hill" slide complexes.

Guests can also enjoy rides in the unique "Lost River of the Pharaohs" raft ride and the famous "Voyage to the Center of the Earth" dark ride.

Children’s play areas include the slides and mini river of the "Big Top" family activity pool as well as a multi-level interactive water play fort at "Calypso Cove" with slides, pipe falls, bubblers and tipping bucket.

Families will also enjoy interactive features and slides of "The Funhouse" and the adjoining "H2Orena" water playground. Kids will also enjoy the "Wally World" kiddie racing slides.
