Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is the world's largest movie studio and movie-based theme park and is the original Universal Studios theme park. This California park is split into an upper and lower lot with attractions that incorporate live filming and shows, thrill rides and studio tours.



The Upper Lot is where the majority of the rides are located including the popular “Studio Tour”.

Departing from the Upper Lot and descending to the Lower Lot, it passes through the back lot area where many movies and TV shows are filmed.

Guest can enjoy the “WaterWorld” stunt show and “Fear Factor Live” audience participation show and watch the tricks of the “Universal’s Animal Actors” live show.

Also included here are the action movies,” Terminator 2:3D” and “Shrek-4D” and the “House of Horrors” museum maze.

For the younger ones, the “Nickelodeon Blast Zone” features the “Wild Thornberry’s Adventure Temple” and “Nickelodeon Splash” water play area.

The Upper Lot at Universal Studios also features the entertainment, shopping and dining complex, CityWalk, which also includes the Universal Cinemas and the Gibson Amphitheatre concert and special
event venue.

The Lower Lot is accessible by a massive series of escalators that connects the two lots. There guests can learn movie secrets at the “Special Effect Stages” or enjoy the pyrotechnics spectacular at the “Backdraft” sound stage. The “Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride” thrill coaster and the “Jurassic Park - The Ride” water thrill ride are also located here.

Universal Studios Hollywood offers general, preferred and valet parking as well as a variety of ticket options. This California theme park is included in the California CityPass package. Ventura Aquatics Center

Ventura Aquatics Center is a small water park located in Ventura Community Park in Ventura. It is open year-round with varying hours and features a competition pool and family recreation pool with two 25-foot water slides. Also included is a kid’s water playground that features a multi-level play structure with slides and water umbrellas.

WaterWorks Park

WaterWorks Park is a 7-acre tropical themed water park located near Lake Shasta in Redding. It features the “Tropical Lazy Lagoon”, an “Activity Pool” and a “Kiddie Playground” with water umbrellas, mini slides and shallows. Slides include the “Avalanche” half-pipe, the “Cyclone” five-story funnel slide and the “Raging River” raft ride. Also include are the “Bucking Bronco”, “Corkscrew” and “Whipper Snapper” serpentine slides.

WaterWorks Park offers free parking and is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
