Pixieland Park is a small amusement park for young children in Concord. It features seven traditional rides including a carousel, tea cups, flying airplanes and frog hopper. Also included is the “Windy Grove Antique Car Ride”, the tiny “Dragon Roller Coaster” and a train that goes around the park.

Raging Waters has three major water parks in California located in Sacramento, San Dimas and San Jose.
Raging Waters, Sacramento features more than 25 water attractions including the “Breaker Beach” wave pool, the “Calypso Cooler” lazy river and a sandy volleyball court. It offers a variety of thrill slides including the 6-story “Hurricane Bay”, the 5-story “Dragon’s Den and the “Cliffhanger” dual racing slides.
The Shark Attack Waterslide Complex contains the “Mako”, “Hammerhead”, “Stingray” and “Manta Ray” slides as well as the “Great White” inline water luge. Other water park slides include the “Splashdown” drop-out slides and the “Honolulu Half Pipe” 4-story wave ride. “Hook’s Lagoon” offers water toys and nine smaller slides for younger guests.

Raging Waters, San Dimas is California's largest water park and is ranked #3 of the Top 10 US Water Parks by the Travel Channel. This 50-acre water park features 36 slides and attractions, a sand beach and two picnic areas. Guests can float down the quater mile “Amazon Adventure” lazy river, relax in the million gallon “Wave Cove” or learn to surf on the “Flowrider” wave attraction.
Thrill slides include the 10-story “High Extreme”, the “Dragon's Den” bowl slide and the “Dark Hole” and “The Vortex” flumes. Speed slides include the eight lanes of “Ragin' Racer”, the three slides of the “Bermuda Triangle” and the two 8-story slides, “Raging Rocket” and “Screamer”. Guests can also enjoy the “Neptune’s Fury” and “Thunder Rapids” raft rides.
Younger guests can enjoy the mini-slides and wading pools of “The Little Dipper” or the 30,000-square-foot water playground, “Kid’s Kingdom”. Another family-oriented area of the park is “Splash Island Adventure”, which features several multi-level activities. It includes slides, water cannons, tunnels and swinging bridges. The centerpiece of “Splash Island Adventure” is a 1,000-gallon bucket on top of a five-story tower that spills hundreds of gallons of water over the whole attraction every few minutes. Raging Waters, San Jose is 23-acres of high-speed slides and family attractions. Tame rides include the “Great White Shark” and “Slide Creek” tube rides as well as a lazy river and wave pool. Younger guests and their families can explore the ”Wacky Water Works” water play area and the “Pirate’s Cove” interactive water fort. Thrill slides include the “Barracuda Blaster”, “Dragon’s Den” and the three slides of the “Serpentine”. Other slides include the “Blue Thunder/White Lightning” and “Shotgun Falls” drop-out slide.

The Ravine Waterpark is medium-sized water park located on the Central Coast of California in Paso Robles. It is open from June through September and includes the lazy “Sunset River”, “Calypso Bay” wave pool and the “Tadpool” interactive water play area for kids. Slides include the four-story funnel ride, “Vertigo”, the “Kamikaze” speed slide and the ”Anaconda” and “Viper” tube slides.

Redding Aquatic Center is a small water park located in Caldwell Park in Redding. Features include a diving/lap pool and zero-entry recreation pool. The recreation pool features a large slide as well as a multi-level play structure with smaller slide and interactive water features. A sand volleyball court is also available. The center is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day with varying operating hours.
