California attractions are listed below in alphabetical order.


Adventure City

Adventure City is a small two-plus acre amusement park located down the street from Knott's Berry Farm in the Hobby City Complex in Anaheim. The park is billed as an "all-in-one pocket-sized park” and features rides and attractions aimed at families with children under the age of twelve.

Adventure City amusement park offers 10 carnival rides that are slower and smaller in scale so a parent can sit next to the child. Rides include the “Barnstormer Planes”, “Balloon Race” basket ride and the kid-powered “Crank ‘n’ Roll” mini-train. Also included are a vintage carousel, the “Giggle Wheel” mini Ferris wheel and the “Express Train” that travels the perimeter of the park. Small roller coasters include the “Tree Top Racers” and the “Freeway Coaster”.

The California amusement park also features an arcade, a petting farm and the “Thomas the Train” play area. There are daily live stage shows at the Adventure City Theater and a 24-foot rock climbing wall, “Mount Adventurous”.

Admission includes unlimited rides on everything except the rock-climbing wall, which is an additional $3.

Alga Norte Family Aquatic Center

Alga Norte Family Aquatic Center is a 5-acre water park located with the Alga Norte Community Park in Carlsbad. It is open year-round with varying operating hours and features a lazy river, two slides and two training pools. The center also features a kiddie pool with climbing gym along with a family water play area and climbing gym.

Antioch WaterPark

Antioch WaterPark is a 10-acre facility located within the 100-acre Prewett Family Park in Antioch. It features five slides and five pools, including the shallow pool and stream of the “Tad Pool” kid’s area. The Prewett Family Park also offers two professional sand volleyball courts and a 15,000 square foot Skate Park.

Belmont Park

Belmont Park is a seven-acre beachfront amusement park in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The ‘old boardwalk’ atmosphere of the park features several carnival rides, shops and restaurants as well as a neighboring live music venue.

The star of Belmont Park amusement park is the “Giant Dipper”, one of two original oceanfront roller coasters still operating on the west coast. Originally built in 1925, it is 2,600 feet of twisting ups and downs that is both a historic landmark and a top-ranked national coaster. Other thrill rides include the swinging “Beach Blaster”, “The Chaos” three-dimensional spinning ride and the three-story drop of the “Vertical Plunge”.

The amusement park also features the classic “Tilt-A-Whirl”, “Speedway” bumper cars, the “Liberty Carousel” and the “Family Fun Arcade”.

Belmont Park is also home to “The Plunge”, San Diego's largest heated indoor swimming pool built in 1925. It is also the nation's first amusement park to feature the simulated wave attraction, “FlowRider”, located in the “Wave House”.

Blackbeard's Family Fun Center

Blackbeard's Family Fun Center is a 15-acre amusement park in Fresno. Attractions include three 18-hole miniature golf courses, six water slides and two paint ball fields. There are also nine batting cages, two Go-Kart tracks and bumper boats.

Blackbeard's has two video arcades with the ”Cap'n Kid's Fun Factory” arcade dedicated to kids ages 2 through 12. ”Cap'n Kid's Rideland” features ten rides for the younger set that include a roller coaster, Ferris Wheel, carousel and antique car ride.
